Background Checks – In person checks need to can be completed Tuesday – Thursday, between 8a-4p (excluding Noon – 1p).
Copies of accident reports – Please go to buycrash.com to purchase an accident report, or by calling 1-866-215-2771 Option 1.
Copies of incident/case reports – Email reports@vigosheriff.in.gov to request a copy of incident report. Email shall contain:
- Your full name
- Phone Number
- Date of incident
- Case/Incident number (Case number should be similar to “21VCSO-00355”)
Gun Permits –Can now be managed by phone, you do not need to visit our office. Please call 812-462-3226 between 8a-4pm (excluding Noon-1p).
Tax Warrants –payment of a tax warrant can made by either going online to the website allpaid.com, select the search option under make a payment and search Vigo County, and select option 8570, or a payment can be mailed directly to the sheriff’s office at 600 W. Honey Creek Dr. Terre Haute, Indiana 47802.
